The Boy Scout of America is
an authorized provider and is working with the American Red Cross in providing
additional Health & Safety training.

RISK MANAGEMENT
The risk management committee meets four times a year
to review risk management in the Central Florida Council BSA and the National
Boy Scouts of

Our committee plans two projects per year to reduce
risk of injury and accidents.
2004 Project 1:
Purchase AED for camp & improve training for cardiac emergencies
2004 Project 2:
Health & Safety Training Opportunities for Council Volunteers
The Central Florida Council
wants to educate our Unit and District Volunteers on Health and Safety. The Council provided the Health & Safety
Training Weekend at Camp La-No-Che in April
2004. Another weekend is being planned
for April 2005.
