Campmaster Program Training

The Camp Program Committee is now reorganizing the campmaster program.  A free Campmaster program is planned in early 2006 for leaders to attend and join our new campmaster program.  We will release additional information by the CFCBSA list.  We expect the training to be held in March 2006.  If you are interested in attending the Campmaster training, please e-mail Chris Hennessey at hennessey734@netzero.com.   

 

Cub Camp Program Volunteers Needed

Volunteers are needed to help with the Spring 2006 Cub Programs.  We need help with Cub program areas at the 8 different events noted above for the following areas:  Craft Leaders; BB Gun Range Volunteer; Archery Range Volunteer; Aquatics Lifeguards (Certifications needed); Scout Skill Leaders; Sports Leaders; Nature Leaders; Registration help and overall operations at camp such as health officers.  Also, help is needed for the Halloween Campout for setting up haunted areas; being costume characters and organizing Halloween events.

Volunteers may be adults; Scouting/Venturing Units or individual Scouts 13 years old and above.  Volunteers stay in the family camp area; eat meals for free and help our Scouting family experience the outing in our Scouting program.

Additional Camp Volunteers Needed

We need other camp help preparing camp for 2006!  We have lots of program events here and need help to prepare our camp.  Please check out list below to see if your group or individually volunteer to help complete these tasks!

 

·        Big Stump Hurricane clean up and reopening the trail

·        Campsite or Facility repairs, painting etc

·        Assisting with conservation, cleaning camp or providing leadership on a new camp project that you believe we need to improve Camp La-No-Che

·        Program Area upgrades
