James E. West Fellowship Award
Help to keep Scouting available to future generations with a James E. West Fellowship Award!
This award is a national recognition for individuals who contribute $1,000 or more in cash or securities to the local council’s endowment fund. Your contribution is in addition to, and does not diminish, or replace your annual gift to the council’s Sustaining Membership Enrollment campaign (FME/SME).
Your gift is placed in the council endowment fund and invested. Only the interest derived from that investment would be used for Scouting programs. The principal amount is never invaded or expended. Therefore, your gift will last forever and will continue to support Scouting beyond our lifetime
Recognition for the award includes: an attractive 8-by-10 inch personalized certificate, a distinctive lapel pin/charm, an embroidered knot for uniform wear, and one special yellow border Central Florida Council James E. West council shoulder patch. If you are already a James E. West Fellow and choose to make additional $1,000 gifts, for yourself or, in someone else’s name you will receive one special black border Central Florida Council James E. West shoulder patch.
