The Central Florida Council has an email group for the purpose of sending out announcements and updates about Scouting events. It is also available to volunteers to ask for help. For example, recently one Scouter used the group to ask for help in finding resources to teach CPR. Another asked for help in finding a Santa costume. However, this is not a discussion group. Replies go the sender, not the entire group. Messages posted to the group are moderated before they are sent out
If you are interested in
subscribing to the group, just send an empty email to There is also a group for each district. You are encouraged to belong to both the council group and to your district’s group. The district group has announcements related specifically to that district. If you do not belong to both groups, you will not get all the announcements. To subscribe to your district’s group, send and empty email to the appropriate address below.
